County FAs and The FA are together in a coordinated effort to try to protect grounds, pitches and other playing areas from development, but need your help.

County FAs and The FA seeking information from club secretaries about the grounds and pitches which our teams currently use. It is needed as part of an FA campaign to lobby for important playing spaces to be protected from development and to highlight areas where there is under-provision so we can act. It will also help us keep you up-to-date on opportunities that may exist for you to access improvement and development funding from our partners.

To allow you to provide this information, a new Grounds page has been added to the Whole Game System (https://wholegame.thefa.com). As club secretaries you will be able to complete this page as will your Club Chairman, Welfare Officer and Treasurer.

The new page opened on Monday 11th January and it will close on Sunday 31st January.

The information prvided will contribute to the data required for the club affiliation process - meaning there is no need for duplication when you complete this important process later in the year.

To help you complete the new WGS page we have created an online video resource which can be accessed here

If you do have any issues with providing your information please feel free to call the Helpline we have set-up on 07940 305971 or email The FA support team on groundsandpitchdata@thefa.com. One of our team will get back to you as quickly as possible.

This is all about County FA's, our clubs and The FA coming together to protect and improve our grounds and pitches - this is your chance to be part of it!
